My kiddo got some new boots recently, and they have planets, spaceships, and dinosaurs on them. This is of particularly potent symbolism for me, and I'd like to record why.
If you look up the tag line for Steven Spielberg's upcoming Disclosure Day, it says, "If you found out we weren't alone, if someone showed you, proved it to you, would that frighten you?" I don't know if you've ever thought about what proving to someone we aren't alone would entail, or how you'd do it without frightening people.
